Organization Roles

(Note to self: use "Participant, Assistant, Organization Builder, Grader, and Organization Leader/Do NOT use "Facilitator, Leader, Guest, or Notetaker)

"What are Organization roles?"

Organization roles control access to content and tools within an organization. Each user in an organization is assigned an organization role. You set organization roles when enrolling users in organizations. You can also edit organization roles after enrollment.

  • Organization Leader: Organization Leaders have full access to the course. This role is generally assigned to the person developing or facilitating the organization. If an organization is unavailable to participants, users with the Organization Leader role may still access it. The Organization Leader is included in the Organization description in the Organization Catalog. The Organization Leader role can control tool availability.
