The Bb Grader provides instructors the ability for reviewing, providing feedback, and grading student submissions to Blackboard Learn assignments via the iPad tablet.

Steps

Launch Bb Grader App

Type Syracuse University into Find Your Institution field.  Select Syracuse University - Spring/Fall Courses

Type in Username and Password

Click drop down arrow to select a course

Select assignment to grade

Select student (assignment)

Review and grade student submission

Add text, audio, video feedback

Allow Bb Grader to access the tablets microphone and/or camera in order to provide audio and video feedback

*Note*  Video feedback is limited to 1 minute.

Once feedback is complete.  Click Send Grade

You will receive a Success notification

The grade will be sent to the Blackboard Grade Center

Students will access the feedback via My Grades

Audio feedback are .m4a files and Video feedback are .MOV files

Group Assignment

Click (Select) Course

Click (Select) Assignment

Click (Select) Group

Wait for submission to generate

Annotate assignment - Comment feature.  Click Comment icon once, click area where you would like the comment to appear

Add Grade and Feedback. Send Grade

You can download the file and/or annotated .pdf file

Green check mark indicates the grade and feedback have been sent

Students will access the feedback via My Grades.  Students view instructors feedback in the FEEDBACK column or click on name of assignment
