- Access to your SU Google Drive files and @g.syr.edu account will be removed 90 days after the spring term end date (which is usually a few days before graduation).
- There a couple of ways to save your data.
- Migrate it directly to a personal Google account using Google's automated migration service.
- Download the data using Google Takeout (full data export) and then upload it to a personal cloud storage or save on your computer.
Warning: Don't rely on keeping a synced/offline copy of your SU Google Drive in lieu of one of the above methods. Files in Google's own formats like Docs, Sheets, etc., are shortcuts to the files that only exist in Google's Cloud. Only by using Google Takeout or downloading will the files be preserved (they are converted to Microsoft Office formats).
