Purchase a Rhinoceros 3D license directly from the SU campus store for $95developer McNeel for $95 (if upgrading from an earlier version) or $195 (if buying a new license):

After placing the order, you should receive three emails:

License info
Wait for the license info email to arrive. It may take anywhere from eight hours to a couple of days if the bookstore is very busy, as the license must be created by hand. Sometimes the second email can be delayed too.
Installation
After receiving the license info (3rd email), go to https://accounts.rhino3d.com and create a Rhino account. Then add the license to the account.We recommend using a personal email address when creating the Rhino account, so that when you graduate you don’t lose access (because your syr.edu account will eventually be removed).
Installation
The license should appear under your Rhino account (https://accounts.rhino3d.com).
After you install Rhino on your laptop, sign in with your Rhino account to activate the software.
Free Legacy License
If you purchase Rhino 8, you can also obtain a free Rhino 7 license, which may be useful for a plugin that only works with the old version.
