Follow the steps below to clear the browser history and/or cache in Safari.

macOS Devices (version 11 or newer)

  1. First, click on your Safari window to make it the active window. Then, click "History" on the top of the menu bar and choose "Clear History".

  2. When prompted to choose the clear range, make sure to select "all history". Then, click "Clear History".

For support of the information above, contact the ITS Help Desk by You can remove all records that Safari keeps of where you’ve browsed during a period of time you choose. If your Mac and your other devices have Safari turned on in iCloud preferences, your browsing history is removed from all of them. Clearing your browsing history in Safari doesn’t clear any browsing histories kept independently by websites you visited.

Clear the history and cookies from macOS 

  1. In the Safari app Image Added on your Mac, choose History > Clear History, then click the pop-up menu.

  2. Choose how far back you want your browsing history cleared. If you are having trouble accessing MySlice, we recommend clearing the history for all time.

Clear the history and cookies from Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Go to Settings > Safari, and tap Clear History and Website Data. Clearing your history, cookies, and browsing data from Safari won't change your AutoFill information.
