SU is participating in the Microsoft Student Advantage program. Through the program, current SU students (undergraduate, graduate, and part-time, and non-credit) can download and install Office desktop applications on up to five computers (PC, Mac) and five mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, Android). Project Advance students are not eligible for Office 365 ProPlus.
You can download Office 365 ProPlus using your SUmail student email account. Staff and faculty who are also students don't have SUmail email accounts but can download the Office applications using a special SUmail portal account (visit Office 365 ProPlus for Staff and Faculty through Microsoft Student Advantage). Office applications installed through the Microsoft Student Advantage program have up to a four year subscription – remain activated as long as a student remains eligible. After four years (for current students), or when When you graduate or leave the university, the subscription will expire. Current students can renew the subscription one time. Students must connect any device with Office 365 ProPlus to the Internet at least once every 30 days for an automatic license check.
