- ArcGIS Pro in the labs requires a special SU ArcGIS Online account to use.
- To obtain this account, email John Olson of the SU Library at jaolson@syr.edu and request "an SU ArcGIS Online account so that I can use ArcGIS Pro in the computer labs."
- The account has a username in the format "YourNetID_SyrUniv". Once you have this account you will be able to use Pro in the labs.
- This same account is also required to utilize online resource links within ArcGIS Pro, whether in the labs or on your own personal computer.
Troubleshooting the free license installation
- If the 'Authorizing Software' step give the error 'Unable to prepare your authorization', check the Windows services list (services.msc) and make sure the ArcGIS licensing service is set to auto start instead of manual.
