With each section you should find Direct from Handshake Resources, Direct from SU Resources, Pro Tips, and more. For all internal SU support regarding Handshake, please contact handshake@syr.edu. For external support direct from Handshake, please submit a ticket. Depending on your experience using Handshake, you may find the best results using the internal system first. If a question cannot be answered, it will be elevated from internal to external by our internal handshake support team. Historical Data Handshake was implemented at SU in 2018. Default Search Filters
Handshake has quite a few areas that can have default search filters so that whenever you explore Handshake as a Career Services practitioner, you are seeing the content relevant to your scope. For example, as you explore Handshake, if you are associated with a specific School or College, you might want to only see Appointments, Jobs, Events (and more) that are only relevant to the industries, majors, major groups, or Staff of your School or College.
