Qualtrics Support & Training

Qualtrics is one of the very few survey providers that gives unlimited support to all users. Every faculty, staff, and student will have access to phone and/or the support queue.

Having trouble with the features of the application you may contact support by calling 800-340-9194 or following the directions below to submit a Qualtrics Help Request.

Here at SU we simply take care of user account issues and licensing features and things along those lines. The "best" option for this is to contact Qualtrics support from within the survey itself, use the"?" in the top right. There is a chat option for quickest response. Email is an option too from that same channel but expect 24 hours to turn it around. You will need to interact with the bot first; let it know it did not resolve your issue (unless it did) and then you will be presented with options for contacting support.

Step-by-step guide to Support

After logging into Qualtrics (Login Instructions)

  1. From within the survey, select the"?" in the top right corner

  2. The quickest way to reach live support other than making a call is to ask a question of the AI Support Assistant. Let the AI Assistant know it did not resolve your issue (unless it did) and then you will be presented with options for contacting support. Otherwise, continue for other support options

  3. Select "Ask the XM Community" to search the Knowledgebase or ask the Community or "Contact Support" to communicate with Qualtrics Support 

  4. Select “Surveys & XM Directory” (for most survey issues)

  5. You will need to interact with the bot first; let it know it did not resolve your issue (unless it did) and then you will be presented with options for contacting support.

      Please note: Chat normally provides the quickest path to move your request forward. Email is typically a 24 hour turn around.

For Technical support on how to use the features of the Qualtrics Application, login to the application first then select "Help" in the upper right. You will then have the option to navigate the "Support Site" or contact a support person.
