The 2026 Forever Orange Scholarship
Scholarship Overview
The 2026 Forever Orange Scholarship provides scholarship for half of the tuition for students who enroll full-time in a qualifying graduate degree or certificate program at Syracuse University. The scholarship is automatically available to all Class of 2026 graduating seniors who are eligible for admission—no separate scholarship application is needed. Graduating seniors who have already been admitted to a qualifying graduate program are also eligible. The scholarship cannot be combined with any other program-granted graduate funding awards, such as assistantships, fellowships, or other scholarships, nor can it be deferred to future terms. The scholarship is only for those programs on the List of Qualifying Programs by School and College.
Guidance on Selecting a Graduate Program
There are a wide variety of programs from which to choose—degrees that directly continue your undergraduate studies and those adding another dimension to your qualifications. Our graduate staff and faculty are available to address your questions and guide you through the application process. We encourage you to consult with the career advising staff in your college for additional guidance and assistance.
Qualifying Residential Graduate Programs
This comprehensive list of 2026 Forever Orange Scholarship programs includes links to program overviews, allowing you to become familiar with the nature of the program, the curriculum, and admissions requirements. The Scholarship only applies to residential programs. Application fees for graduate programs are waived for all Syracuse University students. Applying to a graduate program can be done entirely online—apply now.
Once admitted to a graduate program and upon officially completing your undergraduate degree, you may enroll in the first term of entry available in 2026.
Eligibility Requirements for 2026 Forever Orange Scholarship:
As a member of the Class of 2026, you are eligible for the 2026 Forever Orange Scholarship if:
You graduate in December 2025 or have submitted a Diploma Request for May, June, or August 2026;
You officially complete your undergraduate degree in December 2025, May 2026 or August 2026, prior to starting coursework for a graduate program;
You are admitted to study full time in a qualifying graduate program (see list of qualifying programs below) and begin the program no later than the start of the 2026-26 academic year.
Note: Deferring to a future semester beyond fall 2026 is not permitted. Also, you must maintain full-time continuous enrollment status throughout the duration of the program.

Biomedical Forensic Sciences, MS
Medicolegal Death Investigation, MS
Speech-Language Pathology, MS*
Application Deadlines: June 1; Biotechnology applications accepted on a rolling basis; Speech-Language Pathology MS applications are due February 1.
Admissions Notes: GRE not required, with the exception of Speech-Language Pathology MS . Additional program admissions requirements: Speech-Language Pathology MS applicants apply via the CSDCAS application no additional application to the Graduate School is needed. Applicants are required to submit GRE scores, official transcripts, custom essays, three letters of recommendation and an application fee through the CSDCAS portal; Biotechnology requires two letters of recommendation; Chemistry awards automatic acceptance for graduating seniors with a CGPA of 3.0 or higher and the letter of recommendation requirement is waived.
*Students currently enrolled in 4+1 programs receive a tuition benefit and are not eligible for the Forever Orange Scholarship. Students who are continuing in a 4+1 program may contact their program directors with any questions.

Application Deadline: January 15, 2026. Some SOE master’s degree programs will allow rolling admissions on a space-available basis.
Admissions Notes: GRE not required; the School of Education offers the SOE 50% Certificate of Advanced Study and SOE 50% Master’s Scholarship.
