• A faculty had an external DVD drive connected and when putting in a disc, the DVD drive required her to set the region. But it required admin access to do this before it would play her disc.

• Allow users to change the Low Power Mode setting under the Battery panel themselves. For example, one of our faculty wanted to change the Low Power Mode setting from Never to ‘Only on Battery’ but it required elevation.

• Faculty could not change their macos timezone when stationed in another country on sabbatical for 6 months. Affects various timestamp needs including scheduling reminders.

• Faculty want to add and remove external drives to Time Machine without needing admin access.
