EZproxy is a web proxy server that provides off-campus access via user authentication to the Libraries' electronic resources.

How to connect with EZproxy

Beginning April 1, 2024, NetID and password will be required to access library resources from off-campus. You can activate and manage your NetID at SelfServ. Single Sign On (SSO) and Multifactor Authentication (MFA) will be required as well. Please visit the MFA Answers page for detailed instructions.

Note: EZproxy use is required when working off campus. The only exception is if you are connecting to resources using your on-campus computer through a tool like Remote Desktop.

Project Advance (SUPA) Students

Students participating in SUPA have access to the SU Libraries' licensed database and journal resources from off-campus.

PLEASE NOTE: April 1, 2024, the authentication option to use your SU ID and last name is going away. When that change occurs, you will need to use your NetID and password to access library resources from off-campus. You can activate and manage your NetID at SelfServ. Multifactor Authentication (MFA) will be required as well, please visit this Answers page for detailed instructions

Project Advance faculty may request instruction for their students. SU librarians can teach students how to locate and use library resources and conduct research effectively.
