All students must have an active subscription to use the system. Depending on the requirements of your course, you may also be required to buy a clicker. You can buy these materials at the SU Bookstore or through your profile page on the Turning Technologies website.
Check with your syllabus and instructor to see what is required for your course.
If your instructor requires a clicker and you do not already own one, you should buy a "bundle" which includes both a subscription and a device. Spring 2020 pricing is as follows:
If your instructor allows mobile responses or if you already own a clicker you should buy a subscription only. Fall 2021 pricing is as follows:
Once you've purchased a device or subscription you should go through your Blackboard course to Tools and click on Turning Account Registration to return to your profile page. There you can enter the Subscription Code or Clicker ID (shown on the back of your clicker) to complete your registration.
Your profile page will always show your current registration status. Once you're registered, your instructor will need to update their roster in their software to confirm the changes.
If you are using mobile responses only, you need a green check-mark next to "Subscriptions" and "Learning Management System" to be correctly registered.
If you are using a clicker, you need a green check-mark next to "Subscriptions," "Response Devices," and "Learning Management System" to be correctly registered.
