Two-factor authentication protects your accounts and confidential information by strengthening the sign-in process with an extra verification of identity in addition to your username and password (for example, a one-time code texted to your phone). Prior to traveling to campus, be sure to configure and verify you’ll have access to your two-factor authentication methods. You can manage your two-factor authentication at netid.syr.edu.
