Android Phones and Tablets vary widely between platforms and versions. We strongly recommend using the Microsoft Outlook App offered in the Google Play Store as it offers the best experience when using your SUMail account.
If you received an email indicating you need to configure your Exchange account in preparation for migration to SUMail, we recommend removing your account from the device and reconfiguring the account using the steps below. Configuring your email account with your full email address will properly prepare you for your account's migration. Download and Install Outlook
Visit the Google Play Store to download and install Outlook.

Configuring the Outlook app for first time users
- Once you have installed the Outlook app, open it.
- Click on Add Account.
 - On the 'Add Account' screen, enter your full email address (e.g. NetID@syr.edu)
 - Click Continue.
- Enter your NetID password on the Office 365 sign in page and select Sign In.
a. Subsequently, you will also need to verify your identity with your two-factor authentication method (MFA/2FA).
  - Your account will be added to the Outlook app.

Removing an email account from Outlook
- Launch the Outlook app.
- At the top left, select the menu icon, tap Settings.
 - Tap the account you would like to remove.
 - A new window will appear. Tap Delete Account.
 - A small menu will appear, tap Delete.
 - Fully quit the application.
