Zoom is a web conferencing platform that allows users to experience synchronous class sessions or meetings.
Zoom Meetings syncs with your Outlook, Gmail, or iCal calendar system and delivers streamlined enterprise-grade video conferencing from desktop and mobile.
Since there has been a large increase in those hosting Zoom Meetings, internet trolls have been "Zoombombing" public meetings by sharing their screen and playing disturbing, pornographic, or violent content. The following simple settings changes will prevent this from being able to happen.
In your Zoom settings:

If you do NOT have the Zoom app installed, go to zoom.us and select "Host a Meeting" to start the installation. If you DO have the App installed, see below :
Open any browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox).
Go to join.zoom.us.
Enter your meeting ID provided by the host/organizer.

Click Join. You will be asked to open the Zoom client to join the meeting.
Open Zoom desktop Client
Join a meeting using one of these methods:
Click Join a Meeting if you want to join without signing in.
Sign in to Zoom then click Join.
Enter the meeting ID number and your display name.
If you're signed in, change your name if you don't want your default name to appear.
If you're not signed in, enter a display name.

Select if you would like to connect audio and/or video and click Join.
