ArcGIS Pro

ArcGIS Pro allows the user to create maps from combining geospatial and numeric data layers.

License Information

License Type: This is a single-use license which allows all active Syracuse University students to install ArcGIS Pro on a personal computer at no cost. In addition, faculty and staff of departments participating in the campus cost share and licensed to use ArcGIS on a University device may also install ArcGIS Pro on a personal computer at no additional cost. Faculty and staff should confirm eligibility for this license with their distributed staff personnel before proceeding. A current listing can be found on the ITS Website.

License rights: A single-use license authorizes one person to use ArcGIS Pro on one desktop or laptop. Installation or use on a second machine is not allowed.

License restrictions: This single-use license should only be installed on personal devices. If you need to install on a University owned device or need a concurrent use license for installation in a computer lab or classroom, please contact your distributed staff personnel. System Requirements: Please ensure your computer meets the system requirements for ArcGIS Pro found at http://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/documentation/install/.

System Limitations: These directions are ONLY for Single-Use licenses of ArcGIS Pro for Windows. If you have a MAC, you will need to install ArcGIS Pro through an emulator.

Step One: Download, extract and save the following files from the OneDrive link above:

Step Two: Install ArcGIS Pro using installation guide.

Step Three: Authorize your single-use license for ArcGIS pro using the single-use license file and authorization guide.
