Virtual meetings can be conducted using Zoom and links to Zoom meetings can be integrated into your Blackboard Ultra Course. Zoom can be accessed outside of your course at zoom.syr.edu by logging in with your SU NetID. This page provides instructions for creating Zoom meetings for users in a Blackboard course. To add a Zoom link to your course, click on the purple plus sign icon in the course content area and select "content market" from the dropdown list.
Locate the "Zoom Meeting" tile from the alphabetical content market list. Click the plus sign icon in the bottom right of the tile to add a link to your Blackboard course.
Click on the newly-created Zoom meeting link that has been added to your course content area. This will open the Zoom panel where you can add meetings and recordings to the course.
Recorded Zoom meetings are automatically uploaded to Kaltura. These sessions can be found at video.syr.edu or in the cloud recordings area on the zoom link. To share a recorded meeting through Blackboard, follow the instructions for sharing Kaltura video links. |
