

Topic Overview
Follow the steps below to download an attachment a student has submitted with an electronically submitted assignment that has been created by using the Assessment/Assignment tool in Blackboard.
There are two basic methods for downloading student assignments - individually or as a bulk (.zip) download.
Steps for Individual Download
- Go into the Grade Center, and click Full Grade Center.
- Scroll to the right until you see the assignment title you are looking for in the header row of the grade center
- Hover your mouse over cell of the assignment for an individual student. You'll notice the green exclamation point indicating that there has been an uncollected submission for this student. The drop-down arrow will be highlighted and become active and you can click it for more options.


- Choose "View Grade Details". This link will return a comprehensive view of all the details of this students' assignment submissions including any multiple attempts, grading history etc...Click on the "View Attempts" button.

- Assignment information and links to submitted work is listed.
- In section 2 of the page you should see the attached document of the submission which is being reviewed - click on it to download it.

Steps for "Bulk" Download
- Go into the Grade Center.
- Scroll to the right until you see the assignments you are looking for.
- Hover your mouse over title of the assignment in the header row. The drop-down arrow will be highlighted and become active and you can click it for more options.


- The link will return a page will the students/users listed and any student who has submitted the assignment will have a blank checkbox the left of their name. Click on the checkbox at the top of the column to select all students with submissions. Click on submit.

- You will receive a confirmation message with a link to download all the assignments as a .zip file and the size of the download.
- The assignments have been packaged.
