  • Note that Zoom cloud recordings start at the beginning of the Zoom class are automatically uploaded to your Kaltura MyMedia library page. Access your library at video.syr.edu

• Zoom Online Class Recommended Settings

There are two ways to add a Zoom class link to Blackboard.

Method one creates a direct link to your personal Zoom meeting room for fast access.

Method two adds the full Blackboard Zoom Meeting tool, which has access to advanced scheduling and meeting settings.

Method One

1. Open your Blackboard course and click on Tools
   
   
2. Click Zoom Meeting
   
   
3. Click Personal Meeting Room
   
   
4. Copy your Join URL
   
   
5. Navigate back to the Blackboard course home page, hover the mouse over +, click Web Link
   
   
6. Name it Zoom Online Class, paste in the Join URL, check Available to Users, Submit
   
7. The Web Link to your Zoom Online Class is now in the navigation menu 
   

Method Two

1. Open your Blackboard course, on the top left of the screen, hover your mouse over the + icon and click Tool Link.

   
   

2. Name it Zoom Online Class, Select Zoom Meeting Type.
   

3.  Click Available to Users, and click Submit.
   
   
   

4. This is what the menu link will look like after successfully creating the Zoom Online Class link
