When you’re requesting a project via the Marketing & Communications Request form, please keep in mind the following general lead times that we suggest so that we can accurately prioritize and schedule your project requests.
Web updates, such as correcting a typo, adding new content, changing a picture, or editing the content of one page can happen as quickly as that same day or within 2-3 days depending on ongoing projects.
Depending on the scope of your event, this can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks. Events without a registration require a 2-week lead time. Events with a registration require 4 weeks.
Print projects, from start to finish, take at least 1 month to complete: from request to the finished product delivered to you. The timeline includes 2 weeks for strategy, creation, design, and feedback, and another 2 weeks for proofing, printing, and delivery to Hinds Hall.

If you are looking for a complete overhaul of a section of the website, this is a much longer process than a simple web update. A typical web development project will include several meetings, copywriting, editing, coding, and graphic design - among other things.
