Rhino 7 has a new packagemanager command to easily install plugins.

This works for the following plugins:

It does not work for these plugins:

Using packagemanager

  1. Start Rhino 7 and issue the packagemanager command.
  2. In the Package Manager search box, search for a plugin, such as Weaverbird.


  3. ClimateStudio runs inside Rhino. Make sure you have the latest service of release of Rhino installed.
  4. Install ClimateStudio using default settings. (It installs to C:\Program Files\Solemma.)
  5. Start Rhino and you should see the ClimateStudio toolbar. In Grasshopper you should see the ClimateStudio tab.


  6. When you first run a simulation using ClimateStudio, it will ask for an activation code. Enter the following code: 

EDU_Syracuse:5l7mz8y28aij795e


As long as the COVID-19 crisis looms, the license above is valid. In the future, licenses will be locked down for checkout only on campus and via SURA with a 7-day roaming period.
