Global Security Studies Minor
The Global Security Studies (GSS) minor focuses on the global and international dimensions of security, war, conflict, and conflict resolution in the contemporary world. As an interdisciplinary program, the GSS minior is designed to help students explore the global, international, national, and human dimensions of security, conflict, and conflict resolution in contemporary international relations using the analytic tools provided in different social science disciplines.
The minor is administered by the International Relations Program and is open to all Syracuse University undergraduate students in good academic standing, with the exception of International Relations majors whose topic concentration is International Security & Diplomacy.
