Zoom
Zoom is a video conferencing platform licensed by Syracuse University that instructors can use in their courses. Virtual meetings can be conducted using Zoom and links to Zoom meetings can be integrated into your Blackboard Ultra Course. Zoom can be accessed outside of your course at zoom.syr.edu by logging in with your SU NetID For more information about setting up a Zoom meeting, please visit Zoom at Syracuse University. Add a Zoom Link in a Blackboard Course
To add a Zoom link to your course, click on the purple plus sign icon in the course content area and select "content market" from the dropdown list.
Locate the "Zoom Meeting tile" from the alphabetical content market list. Click the plus sign icon in the bottom right of the tile to add the link to your course.
Once the link has been added to your course, click on the zoom meeting link that has been added to your course content area. This will open the zoom meeting panel.
One zoom link can be created to show all meeting links for the course.
Recorded sessions are automatically uploaded to Kaltura. These sessions can be found at video.syr.edu or in the cloud recordings area on the zoom link.
