Teaching?

Microsoft's Azure Dev Tools for Education is an annual membership program provided by the iSchool for iSchool students enrolled in an active course.  It allows students opportunities to experiment with Microsoft development tools, operating systems, server applications, and cloud services.

Am I eligible?

Your eligibility is added to Microsoft Azure based on your affiliation with the iSchool. In order to be eligible to access Microsoft Azure, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be enrolled in an IST class for the current term
  • Term schedules can be found on the Academic Calendar.

Accessing Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching 

  1. Navigate to https://aka.ms/devtoolsforteaching and click the blue "Sign In" button

  2. Log in with your SU provided Microsoft account, using your NetID@syr.edu email and NetID password. If prompted, make sure to select your Work or School Account, and complete MFA verification.

  3. You will then be redirected to the Microsoft Azure Education Hub

  4. Click on the "Software" tab to view and download available software.
