- Log in to Kaltura
- Go to My Media
- Find the video in the listing
- Click the Edit button (icon looks like a pencil)
- Click the Captions link to view the captions that are available for your video. For each set of captions you will find options under the Actions column including: set as default on the player, edit the name that you want to appear on the player (ex. English), delete the caption file, download the caption file, or display/hide from player. Choose which caption set(s) you want to appear on the player , which set should be the default, and what how you would like them to be namedlabelled.
- To edit the text in the caption files, click the Edit Captions button to open the Kaltura Caption Editor. Use the drop-down menu to choose which set of captions you would like to edit.
- Press the Play button on the video thumbnail to begin the video. Review the captions and edit for spelling, punctuation, and capitalization. Correct any errors in the text as needed. When you find an error and begin editing the text the video will pause so that you can make the required corrections. Press the Play button again when you are ready to proceed.
- Click Save when you are done.
