Method one creates a direct link to your personal Zoom meeting room for fast access.

Method two adds the full Blackboard Zoom Meeting tool, which has access to advanced scheduling and settings but is slower to start the class.

Method One

the URL of an instant Zoom Class meeting.

Note: It is best practice to add a Personal Meeting Room password to protect against zoom bombers.

1. Open your Blackboard course and click on Tools

   1. If you have not yet set up the Zoom Settings link see Zoom Online Class Recommended Settings

2. Click Personal Meeting Room

3. Copy your Join URL

4. Navigate back to the Blackboard course home page, hover the mouse over +, click Web Link

5. Name it Zoom Online Class, paste in the Join URL, check Available to Users, Submit

Method Two

1. Open your Blackboard course, on the top left of the screen, hover your mouse over the + icon and click Tool Link.Image Removed
2. Name it Zoom Online Class, Select Zoom Meeting Type.

3.  Click Available to Users, and click Submit.
