Boot Camp will facilitate running Windows-specific software such as Revit, ArcGIS Pro, AutoCAD Architecture and certain Rhino plugins used for energy modeling such as ClimateConsultant.

These instructions are for older Intel Macs. The new M1/M2 Macs don't support Boot Camp. Using third party solutions such as Parallels can be problematic, leading to graphical glitches in 3D modeling and CAD programs, and reduced performance due to running Windows inside macOS. |
- Obtain a copy of Windows 10, which is free for students.
- Save the Windows 10 installation file (ISO) to the desktop on your Mac.
- Follow the steps to setup Boot Camp and Windows.
