Pursuant to Syracuse University’s Information and Communication Technologies used at Syracuse University will comply with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Final Standards and Guidelines of 2017, also known as the Section 508 Refresh. The Section 508 Refresh incorporates the World Wide Web Consortium's Technology Accessibility Policy, the University is committed to ensuring that new Information and Communication Technologies deployed at the University shall be accessible to users with disabilities. For software applications or web-based information or applications, this means that such technologies will comply with the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Levels A and AA (WCAG “WCAG 2.0 AAAA”). Web-based information and applications and software applications are required to comply with WCAG 2.0 Level A and Level AA guidelines. Some exceptions apply.
