Individuals who are not formally admitted into a Human Development and Family Science (H.D.F.S.) degree program, but wish to enroll in H.D.F.S. courses may do so as a non-matriculated student. Non-matriculated students may take up to a maximum of nine credit hours of coursework, beyond which they must apply to be formally admitted into a graduate degree program. Students who have completed coursework on a non-matriculated basis, prior to their admission into the graduate program, may petition to have the courses applied towards their degree requirements.
