Assignment Visibility to Students
By default, the item is Hidden From Studentsall newly created assignments are hidden from students. If When you wish are ready to make it available, select Visible to Students from the drop down menu. Alternatively, you can set release conditions for the assignment by selecting Release Conditions.

- Making an item visible to certain students or groups
- Setting an item to become visible on a certain date/time, and/or to be hidden after a certain date/time
- Making an item visible based on performance on a specified graded item or Gradebook column
If you have added a release condition, students will be able to see a summary of the release condition for that assignment on the course content page. You can learn more about release conditions here.
