1. Learning Modules can be built in content areas, such as the Content Page
2. Open the Content Area you want to build your Learning Module in
3. Click the Build Content button
4. Select Learning Module – fourth option from the bottom of the Create column
5. Enter the name of the Learning Module (ex: Week One)
6. Enter a description – this can include goals and learning outcomes
7. Set the Settings:

8. Click Submit to save
9. You will be returned to the Content Page
10. Click the name of the Learning Module you just created to open it
11. The new learning module will look like this:
12. Content is created in a Learning Module the same way it is for all other content areas - Add content by using the options listed in the Build and Create dropdown menus
13. Content appears in the order it was created but it can be rearranged by dragging the items up and down in the list
14. We recommend building Discussion Boards, Blogs, Tests, Assignments, etc. outside of the Learning Modules and using the Build Content > Course Link option to link to content.
Hierarchy
To set up hierarchy in a Learning Module, use Content Folders as sub-headers:
