If you do have to cancel a class, please notify one of the Writing Department's office staff so via email at writing@syr.edu so that they will be better prepared to answer student inquiries. Staff cannot leave the office to post notices of canceled classes. It is your responsibility to send students electronic notification if you must cancel class.
