| All computers are purchased with available extended warranties from Apple and Dell. In addition, laptop computers must be purchased with accidental damage coverage when available. |
Staff
Computers for full-time staff are desktop/laptop Dell PCs with Microsoft Windows as per Univeristy standard unless the IT Director and the unit Director approve otherwise.
Part-time staff will share a standard Dell desktop PC with Microsoft Windows 10.
Faculty
Computers for full-time faculty are desktop/laptop, typically from Apple or Dell. If teaching or research requires specific manufacturer, that manufacturer must be agreed by the IT Director so that the required support can be provided on the purchased computer.
